A mimeographed 8.5x11 guide to Katahdin. It is extremely crude, with few routes, no photos and basic, hand-drawn, not-to-scale maps.
It is undated but a note at the back from Henry Siracusan, the person who typed these particular copies, makes reference to Art Gran's Climber's Guide to the Shawangunks (1964) and Joseph Cote's Climber's Guide to Cathedral and White Horse Ledges (1969), which puts the production date of this particular copy sometime after 1969. If you have information on when these first started circulating, I would love to have it.
