130-year-old book! Although far from untouched by the passage of time: book has serious soiling on outer edge of cover, foxing throughout, water damage to spine, mold/mildew to lower edge, some loose pages, and ribbon bookmark is broken but still present.
All photographic plates still present with their tissue covers, although some on loose pages. Text readable, and sewn binding is intact throughout, although loose. All signatures in binding are still sewn together but binding does have some damage.
