Desert Rock by Eric Bjornstad (1988)

The original and most-beloved Desert Rock guidebook by Eric Bjørnstad. This book covers a large amount of American desert climbing, both obscure and popular. It covers climbs in the Navajo Nation (including Shiprock, a 50 Classic Climb) which have never been reproduced in any more modern guidebooks, since climbing there is currently illegal without local permission. This is widely considered one of the finest climbing books ever created. 453 pages, black and white. This copy has a small tear on the cover, repaired with packing tape, and one damaged page in the index (currently unrepaired).
