Kind of a modern update to the "Fifty Classic Climbs" of the 1970s. The unique twist in this book is that instead of one author choosing fifty favorite climbs, instead fifty famous climbers each choose ONE favorite climb. This allows for a diverse and esoteric list - not only "classics", but instead deeply personal "favorites."
Each entry is accompanies by a full-page action photo, a page or two of text, usually a second photo, and a topo diagram showing the route. Some contributors include: Mark Twight; Tony Yaniro; Alison Osius; Joe Josephson; Steph Davis; Alex Lowe; Lynn Hill; John Middendorf; and many more.
