A Climber's Guide to Turkey Rock by Steve Cheyney and Bob Couchman.
Vintage ring-bound guide to Turkey Rocks - this is the second edition (the first edition was published in 1984 and had a larger format). This book contains twelve pages of history for the region up front, making it a very useful item for historians or aficionados of the region. It's also just a handsome artifact, with a nice watercolor on the cover and pencil sketches throughout.
A little outdated on the beta however - the introduction is hard-liner:
"Consider Whimsical Dream. It carries a rating of 5.10+ (not 10c or 10d, just 5.10+). More than one climber who has been subdued by Whimsical Dream has wanted to rate it higher, but the fact remains that by The Turkey Rock' standard, it is 5.10... there are harder climbs."
Both Mountain Project and the most recent guidebook by Jason Haas rate Whimsical Dream 5.11b.
50 pages, b&w, with text descriptions of the climbs and beta photographs at the back. This copy in excellent condition, only flaw is previous owner wrote "A CG To Turkey Rock" on the spine in black marker.
