High Over Boulder by Pat Ament & Cleve McCarty (1970)

The cover is partially detached from the binding. The 2nd edition of High Over Boulder, which was THE TEXT which helped explode the popularity of Boulder and Eldorado Canyon climbing. This edition is from the personal library of Steve Komito (who you'll find mentioned in the Introduction). Steve charmingly crossed out the Aid Ratings for classic Eldorado climbs and wrote in the free grade. This gives you a real sense of the progression and the spirit of the time. 367 pages, black and white with a couple color photos. A good amount of action photos and topo diagrams.
