Ice World is an upgraded version of The Ice Experience, his earlier book. It covers the history, the equipment, the movement, and the psychology of ice climbing, illustrated with many photos and tips from Lowe. The book finishes with a nice section describing some of the fantastic climbs Lowe has done around the world, illustrated with excellent topo diagrams by Richard Rossiter.
