The most comprehensive guidebook to the ice climbing around Lake Superior, both on the US and Canada sides. Although later guidebooks for sub-regions have come along, this one remains much-coveted and unlikely to be reprinted.
This copy belonged to “Mountaineer Bob”, a frequent visitor of the Munising Ice Fest, where he had it signed by a great many of the participating professional climbers (see pictures). Conrad Anker signed on the cover, where he is pictured climbing Orient Bay Express (WI 5+)
