North Carolina is one of the more secretive states re: their climbing, not sure why. The reputation of the area is for high quality but difficult and often scary trad climbing. I just opened this book up randomly to an area called Whiteside Mountain, and saw 10-pitch grade IV/grade V climbs, so maybe they're keeping quiet for a reason. This is the second edition of this comprehensive guide to NC Rock climbing. Black & white, 319 pages.
