A spy novel with a climbing setting. This book was made into a 1975 film with Clint Eastwood, which has achieved some cult status. The book is pretty fun too - a very over-the-top semi-satire spy novel. Reads quick.
Jonathan Hemlock, mountain climber and retired spy turned art professor, is hired to assassinate a member of a climbing team attempting the Eiger North Face. Only issue: he is not sure which member of the team is his target.
