A blind man's journey to climb farther than the eye can see.

Autobiography of Erik Weihenmayer, probably America's most famous blind climber. This is his first autobiography, and tells the story of his childhood, how he lost his sight to a degenerative eye disease, how he adapted, and his eventual pursuit of and success on the Seven Summits, including Mount Everest.

This is a pretty good book, I've read it and would recommend it for those who are interested in getting a slightly different perspective than the usual mountaineer's story.

Paperback, 341 pages, with a small insert of b&w photos in the middle. This copy signed by Erik in Sharpie on the first page.
