This book describes two British expeditions to climb the Trango Tower in Pakistan. Joe Brown first saw the formation in 1957, and spent almost twenty years swearing he'd return. He finally did make it back in 1975, where they failed to make the summit, and again in 1976, where they had success.
The climbing team was comprised of Joe Brown (The Hard Years), Mo Anthoine (Feeding the Rat), Martin Boysen, and Malcolm Howells. Tony Riley and the author of this book, Jim Curran, joined as a camera crew.
